Sorting Decision Systems

MMS, the heart of your sorting platform

Benefits of the Prime Vision Sorting Platform:

  • Open architecture
  • Hardware and vendor independent
  • Works with any sorting device
  • Scriptable business logic
  • Collaborates with the most commonly used information and production systems in each sorting IT landscape
  • Highly scalable
  • Re-routing possibilities

Mail Match System (MMS) is possibly the most important part of any sorting process.

From collecting and enriching data for letters and parcels to sending answers with which your sorting system delivers the letters and parcels to the right internal sorting locations. MMS improves both mail automation and parcel automation sorting processes.
Besides handling letters and parcels, MMS can also be used for baggage handling at an airport.

MMS is built on an open architecture and is a hardware and vendor independent solution that collects information from cameras, OCR, MWS, Barcode scanners, video coding, scales, volume measurement system (VMS), hand-scanners, etc. It can work with any sorting device including traditional (big) sorters of any type, but also hand scanners and semi-automated sorting cabinets.

Scriptable Business Logic makes it possible to flexibly control the entire sorting process and strategy without having to modify the software each time.

MMS takes care of the logical control of the sorting process and sends the coding and/or sorting results to the sorting system, which takes care of the mechanical control of the sorting system with these results.

Through a web based dashboard the system status, sorting logic and many other things can easily be monitored.

Re-routing is possible before a parcel or letter physically enters the sorting process.

The collected and enriched data is synchronized with MMS systems at possible sub-locations.

By implementing various standard industry protocols, such as CEN, ESB, etc., MMS collaborates with the most commonly used information and production systems in each sorting IT landscape.

In addition, MMS is a highly scalable automation platform and can easily grow as your organization grows.
