Prime Vision offers an internship or graduation assignment to the person who likes to work on product development and who wants to lay the foundation for new technologies within our company.
Prime Vision develops sorting decision systems that control mail sorting machines. Each system has its own process monitor that can be used to request status and reports. The process monitor offers good technical information but does not meet the demand for centrally available process support information. As a result, there is a desire to make the information centrally available in Datadog, a service that a major Prime Vision customer uses to monitor the sorting machines and associated servers in a growing number of sorting centers.
As an assignment, the trainee / graduate has to make an inventory of the desired events and data to be shown. After this Proof of Concept has to be built where some notifications are sent to Datadog. Finally, it is desirable to develop widgets that make the data clearly visible in Datadog.
