The MILS (Manual Image Lift System) is perfectly suited to handle non-machinable items, using the existing OCR/video coding process, to save manual data entry time and costs. It is designed to produce the best quality images in order to optimize the processes.

High quality images lead to a higher OCR performance and maximize the number of items that can be coded by video coding operators.

This especially is relevant as the import stream contains a lot of small items, that are possibly wrinkled, wrapped in plastics, or poorly printed. For which a robust image capture set-up is needed.

The MILS can be easily integrated with Prime Vision’s state of the art OCR and video coding capabilities.
