Key Account Director - German speaking (DACH) region

The job

The Key Account Director at Prime Vision is responsible for key customers and business development in the German-speaking region. These are some of our most important customers, and while based in Germany, many have a global influence. So, if you are an experienced sales professional with a track record of developing and executing a “Retain and Grow” strategy for your customers, Prime Vision could represent the next significant step forward in your career.

So, what does a Key Account Director do?

  • Understands our customer’s business objectives and how Prime Visions solutions can add business value.
  • Manages client accounts in the most effective way to generate sales for the business and meet targets.
  • Works across the Prime Vision team to coordinate all activities for your accounts and ensure customers benefit accordingly from an excellent experience.
  • Identifies new opportunities to increase the Prime Vision services, through the requirements and demands of our customers.
  • Sells Prime Visions full suite of products and solutions with a focus on the DACH region.
  • Demonstrates a structured, data-driven approach to developing accounts and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the marketing and product management team to identify (new) customer needs.
  • Aligns with key industry partners such as system integrators, material handling suppliers and camera suppliers.

The skills

Essential knowledge/experience

  • A self-motivated individual who can perform at optimal levels under pressure. An original thinker that can offer ideas and insights towards generating new sales; and effectively deal with the people concerned to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Must be confident to engage with decision-makers on their business challenges and effective at translating these needs into benefits.
  • Knowledge of logistics, mail and parcel processing.
  • Be ambitious and competitive, with a winning mentality.
  • Be comfortable with complex ICT topics.
  • Familiar with procurement processes (e.g. RFI, RFQ, RFP, ITT).

Qualifications

  • Fluent written and verbal German and English. Dutch can be helpful.
  • 5-10+ years of enterprise sales experience in DACH region.
  • Analytical skills to judge the current market and the competition to set accurate pricing.
  • Experience with syndicated data, software and measures.
