IT Field Engineer

Location: Delft, the Netherlands

Are you a real hardware fanatic? Do you like to travel frequently and roll up your sleeves for our international customers? Is diving into complex issues and is customer satisfaction one of your greatest motivations? If your answer to these questions is yes, we are looking for you!

The department Care & Protection is Prime Vision’s primary service provider. What has been developed by Prime Vision and is then rolled out to the customer, should also be well maintained! Approximately 20 colleagues are working on this, both remotely and physically at customer sites. From answering questions and solving simple and complex incidents, to replacing hardware and proactively monitoring the systems running at the customer’s site, we do it all.

Our customers are large postal companies all over the world, requiring a high degree of flexibility and cooperation. Fortunately, our planners are always up to date and they ensure that everyone is working on the right assignments.

Due to expansion of the Care & Protection department, we are looking for an IT Field Engineer for our headquarters in Delft.

You are the first point of contact for our international customers, whether remotely or physically at a customer’s site. Not only do you maintain hardware, you also build relationships and discuss future wishes of the customer. By showing and explaining what you do and by asking the right questions, you always know how to make them feel that their business is in the right hands.

If you are not on the road, you work on projects and changes, or you help your colleagues from the Support Desk with handling incidents that are beyond their capacity.

After a familiarisation period you will be perfectly capable of working independently and reporting on your activities and findings in writing. You will ensure that you are always in close communication with your colleagues in the planning department.

It is our ambition to work on a well-attuned team. Everyone contributes to this and we expect the same from you!

We offer a full-time position in an informal and professional working environment with a lot of room for personal development and many extras:

  • An open and inclusive workspace with colleagues from more than 20 different nationalities.
  • A globally oriented company with an equally global client base.
  • A full range of digital tools will be at your disposal.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Company laptop and mobile phone of choice
  • Extra perks such as snacks and excellent coffee every day in our cozy Grand Café.
  • Weekly Thursday and Friday night drinks.
  • Training sessions by a personal trainer in our in-house gym.
  • The possibility to work flexible hours.
  • A profit-sharing scheme for all employees.
  • The option to purchase additional vacation days on top of the 25-day standard holiday allowance.

  • A technical college degree, e.g. mechanical engineering, electronics or networks (Dutch HBO or equivalent)
  • Excellent English language skills
  • You are in possession of a drivers license B (cars)
  • Preferably you have experience as a field (services) engineer
  • Great communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
  • The ability to assess situations and problems technically and advise proactively about solutions
  • Preferably you have knowledge of servers (hard- and software), domains and Windows10
  • If you have certificates such as MCT, MDT or MCSA, that would be an advantage.

In the context of corporate responsibility, Prime Vision as a company is particularly open to applications from people with a disability.

We would love to receive your resume and motivation letter or -video! Please send your application to Peggy Ann Kosters at
