Prime Vision is one of the leading mid-scale systems integrators and a pioneer in logistics technology innovation. Within the innovation team, we are working towards automation in the logistics sector using our affordable mobile robot.
In Partnership with an airline, Prime Vision is developing a demonstration to show the possibilities of our robot platform in their work environment. For this demo the robot needs to be operated safely in an indoor setting where humans are working. Your main task will be to design a behavior tree for the rover such that it can be safely operated in their demo-room. First you will setup a simulation of the demo in our simulation environment in order to test your design. After the proof-of-concept in simulation your design should be implement on the real robot. At our test location in Delft you can test the real system. Towards the end of the internship you will setup the system at the customer's location. For this you will be located at Schiphol.
WHAT DO WE REQUIRE FROM YOU?
You are in the final stages of your degree in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, systems and control, computer science or a similar degree and have some track record in the field of control design, path planning, computer vision, ROS, motion control, filtering, embedded systems and/or distributed systems. You have experience in programming in C++ and/or Python.
You are hands-on and ambitious, self-starting with a responsible and flexible attitude, you love to be challenged analytically and you are a team player with an independent and customer-oriented approach.
You can start your internship at any moment, for a period of at least 5 months.
