The latest recognition modules now include the capability to add indicia recognition for detecting service level and revenue protection/recovery applications, for example if insufficient postage is applied to the mail-piece.

Prime Vision has developed high-performance and reliable solutions for reading addresses on mail pieces, whether they be machine-printed or hand-written.

MailMatch is based on Prime Vision’s award winning RecoWorld OCR & ICR technology; a unique approach to the recognition of text.

It is this “uniqueness” that makes MailMatch an interesting proposition for complimenting existing automated processes, especially for clients that wish to improve their existing OCR read-rates. MailMatch is often incorporated as a “reject reader”; processing images from mail pieces rejected by the first-line or existing OCR engine.
