High-performance OCR, centralized video-coding and image archiving in Helsinki and Oulu
Recently the first two sorting centers at one of our major projects in Finland have been handed over to our client Itella. The sorting centers in Helsinki and Oulu have been successfully commissioned, inclusive high-performance OCR, centralized video-coding and image archiving. The centralized video-coding solution especially is an important novelty as the weather conditions in Finland do not always allow the data typists to travel to work. The new video-coding system enables Itella to re-route images from all sorting centers to one centralized datacenter in Helsinki.
With the hand over of these two sorting centers the project is half way. The next months the sorting centers of Tampere and Kuopio will be installed in close cooperation with our partner Siemens.
