Your key areas of responsibility will be:

The software engineering team develops many varied applications that wrap around our core recognition software, providing user interfaces, management reporting and processing functions.

 

This role is a senior management role within the software group. You will be responsible for bringing together both the design and development resources at your disposal in order to deliver the next generation of applications and platforms related to our core software development as well as project-specific commissions. 

 

You will be solving complex challenges on code-efficiency and re-usable code. You are acquainted with quality assurance and code review. You will also have many opportunities to take your new developments from the lab to client sites around the world. In addition to managing a team, the role also requires you to be responsible for some project management and trouble-shooting aspects associated with your design and development brief.

 

Your profile:

As an excellent developer and architect of our next-generation software applications and platforms, you have vision and can see the bigger picture. A people-person; you will have excellent communication skills, able to inspire other members of your team and provide leadership when it matters in order to cohesively deliver the vision.

You like the prospect of international travel and can speak and write in both the Dutch and English language.

You will be a member of the team expected to lead new development of both the design environment as well as specific applications. You will be solving complex challenges on code-efficiency and re-usable code. You will also have many opportunities to take your new developments from the lab to client sites around the world and be part of the implementation team in a production environment. You will also be providing technical support to answer any questions or feedback from clients.
